AFA's Executive Director is a member of the North Georgia Export Council (NGEC), appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce. The 34 member Council was created to assist the U.S. Department of Commerce with the trade promotion efforts with the State of Georgia. Wanda Ellis serves on the Exporters Textile Advisory Committee.

Joint Ventures:
Working with the Georgia Department of Economic Development (DEcD), Georgia companies are able to travel with AFA to exhibitions throughout the world for a nominal fee. For companies not wanting to travel, they may contract with AFA to represent them for a nominal fee. DEcD has offices in 11 countries around the world staffed with professionals to help you reach your goals with international trade.
